I can see where the "cunning deceptive behavior" rumors come from; despite finding a trustworthy friend he still doesn't let up on the rigid prim manners. It's almost unnatural.

Well, at least Star doesn't blab she was the daughter of an esteemed scientist. Ill-baked ransom schemes have been enacted for less.
