It also helps that Kali hasn't done a figure skating show in like 16 cycles. That's enough time for her hype to die down, while Misty has been and is currently still racing for cycles and be much more fresh in people's minds =)

With that Spec had said to Misty , it's clear a lot of peoples (or racers) around are logically hearing "Misty" in place of "Kali" when speaking about Pridetail family (even if there is only Kali around)

This isn't like most movies and games where people seem to be utterly blind to details (no guys, that's clearly not Sonic, he's frikkin black!). Dune can clearly see white fur and not light blue fur. Kali has a much nicer rep around her!

You could be on to something though with what Misty is afraid of though!

Well , Star's just said she was adopted by the Pridetail family ; not as if she said Misty was around : the hooded person should be Kali . But maybe Misty is afraid of it : http://www.hybridoronline.com/forum.php?p=376 (fourth panel) ; meanwhile , i don't think Dunedin is an "issue guy"
